Observer –Bystander Market

Morning session started well when the composite breached the 1210 mark. Then, like ethereal morning dew, the energy dissipated. A classic “after the loving” scenario. Genting is no longer the favourite this session, shedding 25 sen. We gained only 4 points by the witching hour and the trend is going south. So where does that leave us?

Without a clear leader to lead us on, I believe today will be a day of fast, prayer and rest. The come-back kid is on leave and it will be a while before we see some more market frenzy.

My advice, just be an observer or a bystander and watch. No action required unless you are averaging down on solid blue chips.

Let us watch together how the market goes today. It would not be animated I can assure you; perhaps more like watching grass grow.

Market added 4 points to 1,209 at the close. A snail pace advance but I gather the market is on very firm ground now. Bearing unforeseen circumstances, Bursa is poised for a more spirited advance next week

Quote of the Day:

“Who is wise? He that learns from everyone. Who is powerful? He that governs his passions. Who is rich? He that is content. Who is that? Nobody.” Benjamin Franklin
