Let us look back. Many things have happened to us. Let us list these milestones.
.…singing and performing publicly on the grounds of Rim Padang with Mr. Kessler on his trusty accordion in Standard 1.
….crying at the bus-station in Std 1 when my school bus left without me.
….the bullying at the end of school term when bigger boys punched their enemies as they got out from the school gate.
….swinging like Tarzan from a riverside tree into the muddy waters at the bend of the Kesang River.
….coming late for school and have to be paraded during school assembly in our laterite-soaked school shoes.
....how my canvas school bag stank when a bottle of coffee spilled all over it.
….being caned publicly for joining a bunch of truants playing at the Henry Gurney Park during school hours.
….being infatuated with my class teacher in Standard 4.
….camping in a haunted house at the base of Mount Ophir in Form 2.
....plucking and feasting on langsats on the tree while my friends waited impatiently on the ground for me to throw them bunches of the fruits.
….seeing my first Japanese X movie, “ Seduction Ninja Style”.
….seeing my first blue movie on a bed-sheet on campus
….having my first motorbike, a Honda C-70
….buying my first car, a Mazda 808
….my first disaster date!
….buying my first share on th KLSE
…. losing big time on the KLSE
....becoming a husband.
....becoming a father.
