Nasty Murphy’s Triple Whammy!

Murphy is always lurking around, as mischievous as ever. He strikes and you are out!

We decided to leave the library early today as storm clouds gathered ominously on the horizon. We got into the car but it refused to start. The air in the car was stuffy; the children got restless. We took them to the canteen nearby to cool their heels and to have a bite or two.

We then called the car salesman on our cell-phone. He suggested we open the bonnet and try to disengage the suspected faulty immobilizer; hopefully by doing so, the car may possibly start. But Murphy can be downright nasty. Now, we could not even open the bonnet. It stuck fast.

Now, how bad can it get?

The salesman came around. He put in the key into the ignition and lo and behold! The engine roared into action.

So you can see - this Murphy is really a cheeky fellow as well. He is not only screwing things up for us, he is now also insulting us and embarrassing us in front of the salesman.

I am sure you had your fair share of Murphy’s pranks. Care to relate an interesting run-in with this pesky chap?

Pray tell.

Murphy’s Law needs revision. It should now read as:

“If a thing can go wrong; it will go wrong… doubly wrong. Or triply wrong…”

So watch out for Murphy. He is now super-sized and on the loose!

Quote of the Day:

Murphy's Law

"If there is a possibility of several things going wrong, the one that will cause the most damage will be the one to go wrong."
